Geranium Gin

The founding spirit. Geranium — harvested when the oil is highest — is macerated with nine other botanicals for 48 hours, then distilled. Later bottlings are cut with artesian well water and finished on renewable energy. A judge’s gin: juniper intact, a citrus-rose lift that changes with the mixer. A 55° expression sits alongside the 44° London Dry.

Geranium 55°

For those times when more intensity is needed — a Dry Martini, a G&T, a Negroni. 55% adds weight and enhances the botanicals while keeping the same smooth, well-balanced impression. 55° is also the latitude of the distillery. The old navy proof: gin poured on gunpowder had to ignite; the later hydrometer average settled at 54.5%.

Old English Gin

A 1783 recipe. Eleven botanicals, first distilled on one of the oldest pot stills still working in England and now at Vintre Møller. Ten are named — juniper, coriander, lemon, orange, angelica, cassia, liquorice, cinnamon, orris, nutmeg. The eleventh, cardamom, is distilled apart and only hinted on the glass. A few grams of sugar per litre, reused champagne bottles, cork, organic wax.

Frederiksberg London Dry Gin

Born under Frederiksberg Town Hall; distilled today at Vintre Møller. Seven botanicals, each treated and distilled separately, then blended. Juniper, coriander, pink grapefruit peel, wild angelica, liquorice root — and the two that belong to the borough: lavender and acorn. A classical dry gin with a nutty, floral undertow if you stay with it. The cellar closed. The recipe did not.

The Testament Organic Gin

A London Dry written backwards from the thirteenth century. Dr. Henrik Harpestreng of Roskilde served King Erik Plovpenning with juniper, angelica, nettle, serpentina, dandelion. The Testament treats those manuscripts as a recipe, not a myth: straight juniper, quiet citrus, herbal tea, a thread of liquorice.

The first organic product from the mill, August 2020. Distilled from organic wheat; only the artesian well is added. IWSC (92 points): “Sleek, elegant, understated… light florals, earthy citrus, yeasty bready character, rounded mouthfeel.” Gold at The Vodka Masters.

Reinheart Rye Whiskey

Henrik with friends Kristian and Terkel — a traditional rye, original paradigms, no costume. Aged 6–7 years in American virgin oak, medium toast, heavy carbonation, at the mill. Early releases were tiny: 220 bottles from 2014 cask 1; 436 from 2015 casks 2 and 3. Gold, The Spirits Business, 2023.
